It is too cold for me to think about the homeless

No, I really did hear someone say that to me today.
Why? Because when it is cold we are all cold. It was 30 degrees this morning and walking out of my heated car was a misery. I am storing extra socks in my purse like a squirrel with nuts .
I understand thsnowflakeat thinking of people who don’t have heating ( my heater broke on Thursday – brr) and don’t have blankets is a guilt trip waiting to happen.
No one is asking you to feel guilty.
No one is asking you to do anything.
Just think about it.
Let it roll around in your head that there are people and families living like modern day urban cave dwellers in this cold.
If that motivates you to do anything: well…think about that for a while also.
