Vote Like a Woman

Just a reminder, you can take time off work to vote.

Where: Your Local Polling Booth
Remind your friends that discussing politics is fine and good, but only a VOTE really counts.

Fun (?) Facts.

100 years ago you would not be allowed to vote because you are a woman.

In 1860 only 5 states let a married woman keep her wages
In 1915 rich New York women opposed Women’s Rights because they feared it would reduce their "behind the scenes influence".
Saloons opposed women voting because they assumes women would fight to keep alcohol illegal.
Southern white men opposed women voting because they feared black women being able to vote.

Please, encourage your friends to vote!
(Even if you won’t like what they vote for)
